When my brother Daniel began falling at home and could no longer get himself up, we knew it was time for a change. After spending a night on the floor and having EMTs visit twice in one day, it was clear he needed more care than I could give. That’s when we found Grandview Healthcare Center.
We chose this facility because I knew people connected to it, and it felt familiar and trusted. It’s close to the park, and I hoped he’d enjoy being able to go outside now and then. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I can honestly say Grandview exceeded both of our expectations.
The staff helped him regain strength, and although his knee pain still limits him, he’s found a rhythm that works. What means the most to me is that he’s happy. Happier than I ever thought he would be in this type of setting. He enjoys the people, the activities, and even being waited on—a little extra pampering he truly appreciates!
He’s become so proud of the crafts he creates. I’ve picked up his paintings and sent them to our family in Alaska because he’s that excited to share them. He’s especially into bingo and this new dice game—they bring him absolute joy. And I have peace of mind now knowing he’s safe and cared for.
I’d recommend Grandview to anyone. It’s not just the quality care—it’s knowing that your loved one is safe, supported, and actually enjoying life again. That means everything.
